Phone interview went well. Called by store manager for new location to do in person interview. Met with her and another manager who was more interested in his computer work than interviewing. Employees kept coming in and out of office interrupting our conversation. Left feeling good about the interview and was told I would be scheduled for follow up in a week. No call so I reached out to her. She said I would be scheduled in the next day or two for second interview. The next morning I get an denial email from recruiting . Very unprofessional.

I had seen a post on facebook that Harbor Fright was coming to the area. I applied on there web site for assistant manager (sales manager) position. I received a call from a recruiter for the company. We set up a phone interview for 2 days later, with the recruiter. It lasted aprox. 45 minutes. We discussed team leadership and how i would drive a team. And what i was looking for with the co. She then set up a phone interview for me with the store manager. It lasted 15 min. I believe it was mostly to see if i had the right personality to interact with a team and customers. We then had a face to face interview after he submitted my app to do background check. This took 2 weeks. The background check is the longest wait. The in person interview lasted 2 hours. But we talked about everything lol He was very easy going. Although, i can see some of the questions being very intimidating and on the spot for alot of people. Its kind of difficult to instantly remember how you handled certain situations in your work history. And be very detailed with your responses.
