The interview process begins with an initial phone screen, followed by a take-home assessment. After moving forward, there is an interview with the hiring manager as well as a mock call. The final interview is with the CLO. Handshake boasts its mission to democratize the early career job search, but the reality is that if you're not in a target school, you're not receiving target employers. My experience using the platform was riddled with low-paying jobs with shady employers. If you spend time applying for Handshake, you may regret it, because, as other interview reviews have pointed out, if you don't move forward, they will discard you with a simple automated rejection email. I won't even ask for feedback because according to other interviewees, they were ghosted after requesting feedback. The negative interviews are real, and it may happen to you too. Save your time and apply for a more ethical company with better Glassdoor reviews.
