Very laid back atmosphere at this property. Manager asked me about prior experience within the hospitality industry. He continued by talking about company standards. What the hourly pay would be, medical benefits start after 90 days and the shift hours.

BEWARE! This company practices Age Bias! I applied for a minimum requirement Breakfast Attendant position at this Pearl Distric location in Portland, Oregon & am over qualified with a Bachelor's degree from Portland State University... I am 42 but look 32 & was turned down due to my age, which is not an equal opportunity act, but illegal driscrimination. I really don't really want to work for a hotel that uses a discriminatory hiring process anyways. Please other fellow Portland State University graduates don't work for this hotel that practices age bias.
