The interview literally lasted one minute.
I was called on short notice, and the interviewer asked a single question "Do you have further examples of animated works in your portfolio?"
I explained that the animated work shown on my portfolio was all that I had as I was primarily a designer instead of an animator, but had the basic skills to grow as an animator and was willing to learn.
Skipping all niceties, the interviewer simply replied "...Okay bye."
Understand that there are specific things that interviewers look out when hiring people, but wondering if the interviewer severely lacked EQ and communication skills to not even conduct a proper interview or end things off properly. She could have explained that they were looking for people with more animation experience and I would have totally understood.
But nope, all I received was 2 words. "Okay bye." In the most awkward way you can imagine. I think I dodged a bullet, phew!
