I applied on-line, and then they sent me an email. I had a brief phone interview, and then went to their office. There were several other candidates, and everyone was interviewed the same day. All the candidates were briefly shown the trading floor after the interview. I heard back from them a week after, to come in with the necessary documents.
the interview process was very quick and simple they did not go into detail regarding what the role is about they just asked why i wanted to join hsbc and one other question, it ended in 10minutes
The interview and the interviewers were really friendly and warm, especially for a student with not much experience. The process may be daunting but the interview was good. the questions were mainly about fit questions so just be aware of yourself.

One round of interview started by self-intro then mainly focus on experiences on CV. The interviewer asked many detailed questions about project experiences on CV. Overall experience is professional and good.
