I failed at the 2nd step of interview, but the overall interview experience is good.
2-3 days after I submitted my job application online, I received a call from the candidate response specialist to verify my information on cv, and also to understand the reason for leaving current job, why HSBC etc.
Then I received an online test to verify whether I am fit for HSBC's value and culture. But seems I failed at this stage so 2 days later I was noticed about the result.

I was approached by a recruitment firm. Then I accepted and it was conducted via online with the HSBC Project management team lead. The interview was completed in under 20 mins and was very professional.

Video interview with the hiring manager. Work experience and technical based questions were asked during the interview. The questions were fairly straightforward and nothing out of the ordinary. I definitely had a good experience.

Run me through your the steps you would complete when working on a new project.
Interview with hiring manager went smooth, heard back from HR didn’t get it, until I sent email to confirm. Appreciate HR’s detailed reason of rejecting, they moved on with someone else with more aligned qualification.
