Glassdoor Interview Experience – HCL (GET Role)
I recently attended the recruitment process for the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) role at HCL.
The process so far included two rounds:
Aptitude Test – Focused on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic programming concepts. The questions were of moderate difficulty, and time management was important.
Group Discussion (GD) – Candidates were divided into small groups and asked to discuss a current topic. The panel observed communication skills, clarity of thought, confidence, and how well we could collaborate in a team.
The entire process was smooth and well-organized. The recruiters were supportive and made us feel comfortable.
Currently, I am waiting for the results of these rounds and the remaining Technical and HR interviews.
Tip for future candidates: Prepare well for aptitude (especially logical and quantitative), stay updated with current topics for GD, and be confident while putting forward your ideas.

The interview process consisted of multiple rounds including an aptitude assessment, technical screening, and HR interview. The interviewers focused on communication skills, problem-solving ability, academic projects, and basic technical concepts. The overall process was well organized, professional, and helped evaluate both technical and interpersonal skills effectively.
Totally 5 rounds first tech+ no tech and a round for language and the will call you for a interview followed by HR interview Mostly they will ask you to explain your project
