The interview process at HCLTech for an Azure Data Engineer position (with 5-7 years of experience) consists of two rounds:
Round 1: You can expect questions on SQL, Python, and Spark internals, with difficulty ranging from easy to medium.
Round 2: This round will focus on your project experience, particularly questions related to building end-to-end data platforms.

The interview terrible. The interviewer was not prepared and started reading CV in front of me. The vibe was very "I know it all and I can prove that you don't".

Attended Hackathon. given batch, stream pipeline scenario to develop in GCP platform and should find out metrics out of data within 5-6 hours. later based on the results. on the same day, client interview happens.

about WIF credentials creation
it was very nice experience. Mosty architectural questions and scenario based coding Sql and pyspark. Spark architecture and conceptual questions. It was not that easy but a nice interview.
2nd round also focus on Project related stuffs along with data modelling and cicd
