      Entrevista

      I was contacted directly by the company. As usual they had asked me about my CCTC, ECTC and notice period. When they mailed me to intimate on the date of interview, I asked them if they can pay the ECTC. They told salary has no limit for correct employee. And anyways I had asked for only 30% hike. I was interviewed on Java and Hadoop. The first round was a simple technical round where they asked me to write a mapreduce code on the sales data per region. They provided me pen and paper to write the code in full syntax. The round went well and I was called for second round. In the second round the hiring manager took the round and it was pretty simple. He was boosting on what harman does and what are challenges they want to overcome. I had suggested him some ways how they can be resolved and he was happy to know that. After a week I got a mail at midnight which had a link to some online test. I called them up in the next morning if I can need to take the test as I remember them saying that all tests need to be taken from Harman office. They called me to there office and where I took the test. The system that was provided didnot start for half an hour. Some issue with windows pirate version. I was shocked to see that. Anyways after the system started I gave the test. It was objective based test on core java. There was a long wait after the online test. Probably 1.5 weeks. One day they suddenly came and asked for my pay details with proofs as soon as possible. It seems they want to release the offer. After that they again went missing for a week. Once I called them up and asked for an update, when they told me they cant give me my ECTC and quoted a figure which they can surely pay me. I agreed to that. And they promised send me the offer within two days. This never happened for another two weeks. I again followed up, got an excuse that they will close it soon and they are waiting for some approval. I asked them again after 1 week. Same reply. I waited for another 1.5 weeks and asked them if they are interested on me or can I close this chapter forever. Finally got a reply after 1 day that management wants to take another two rounds and if I am open for that. I replied yes. The same story started again. Don't go for this company. They wasted 2 months. They could have been straight and clear.

      Smooth and straightforward process. 3 rounds of discussion followed by managerial debate. The interviewer is like to have a discussion but not like only questioning. All rounds were easy and salary is as per market standard not above.

      The process was good and interview questions were related to technical things . Attended two rounds of technical interview. Moreover it is a product based company, so it is good to join because of job security .

      Entrevista

      Contacted by HR and first round of Technical interview, second round of Manager discussion with the role , and third round Onsite Team Managerial plus technical round. fourth round was the HR discussion and salary negotiation. All interviewers were friendly and cleared all doubts even if I could not answer a few technical questions. They were basically wants a candidate to have good understanding of the basics and knowledge of the product workflow.
