Took the class and passed the test. We set up interviews before we even knew if we passed the test. (You have to pass the test before you can get hired though.) Interview was a breeze, he tried to get me my ptin number before I even left the interview. One thing that made me frustrated was that I didn't know when the training was going to start, and I wouldn't have even known that I was for sure hired because nobody called or emailed me to let me know. I had to call and they told me that classes start the very next day. Didn't seem to care that I almost wasn't hired because of their mistake.

It was usual personality interview. Asked questions about how you deal yourself in different work situations. Mostly behavioral questions. Technical questions were not asked in the interview as I had to take an exam earlier, one needs to pass that exam with at least 70%.

The hiring process was very easy. Went through the Income Tax Course in the fall and was hired immediately right before the course ended. Everything was done online, the application and the offer.

I did not have to go through an interview. But the most shocking thing is the pay. As a first year tax pro, we do not receive any commission and the base pay is way too low for the amount knowledge that is required for this job.
