Applied on a 09/05. On 09/15 reviewed an email stating grifols want me to contact them with link provided. Completed a questioner online then did a pre recorded phone interview questionnaire. Received a call from a recruiter 9/18 for a on site hiring event 9/19. Interview went ok I guess general work scenario questions. Was informed that business hours would be increased from 6pm to 7pm and need phlebotomist from mid morning to closing. a tour of the site and how things work on attendance and how doctors notes didn't mean crap it still counts against you. God forbid you ever got sick or have small children. was ask to write a Paragraph no matter how long, why I felt I was the best candidate for the position. I was told I would be contacted of their decisions in a week or two since still interview other candidates. Received a email 9/22 that they will be pursuing other candidates for this position assuming those other candidates were well qualified over my credentials being a graduate of a phlebotomy program and nationally certified phlebotomist. Felt like I dodged a bullet any who.

Apply online, 1 week later phone interview from third party company. Another week, got job offer as donor tech not phlebotomist. The assistant manager said they not have openings job for phlebotomist at that time. I think he just wants to be nice because I did not have any experience in medical field. I only have AMT phlebotomist certification. I appreciate 🙏 the opportunity they offer me as candidate. At least, I got one step closer to become phlebotomist one day.
