Entrevista
Started with a phone interview - basic questions (i.e. Tell me something about yourself; describe your current job; why do you want to leave, etc). Then an interview with the Case Attorney - number of cases being handled, immigration knowledge, etc. Last interview was with the Business Director. The interviewers were trying to find out how knowledgeable I was with the immigration cases that they were handling.
The only downside was waiting for the results of the interview...

It was a great experience. I felt very comfortable during my interview with the Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist, as the conversation was friendly and flowed easily. I was also treated with respect and flexibility when I needed to reschedule the interview.

I skipped the first-round interview with HR and was scheduled directly with the attorneys. I was offered the position in less than a week. The onboarding process was very quick.

Tell me about yourself! Why are you leaving your current job? What difficulties have you experienced in your current role? What type of cases have you handled? How many cases have you handled? Do you have any questions for us?

Applied through their website and was contacted by their talent recruit 2 weeks later for an interview. Overall a negative experience. What could have been a 30 minute interview turned out to be 2 hours. While a longer interview may sound great, questions were over the surface (you could tell they were reading off a website), seemed already uninterested from the moment the conversation began, interviewers were late, and not personable at the least. They also seemed to have downplayed my experience and background. An employer should also try to sell their company just as a candidate is trying to sell themselves to a potential employer. I am very passionate about immigration and am very in tuned to reading other people's energies. While I also asked questions, it was evident the work environment lacked passion and resembled an industrial factory ambiance. Very unprofessional for such a nationally recognized law firm.
