Applied on LinkedIn and was contacted via email to schedule a Skype interview for that week. Went on Skype, added the interviewer and scheduled a time for later that week. Interview time comes around and nothing. Sent a few messages to the interviewer on Skype, but got no response and even sent an email but still no response. Very rude.

I applied on LinkedIn and within a few days was texted asking if I was available for a Skype interview. I downloaded Skype, but could not seem to get the interviewer to commit to a specific time to do the interview. After a few days of me asking when he would like to set up an interview time and him NEVER answering my question or responding with a date/time we finally managed to be online at the same time. Once we got started he would only use the chat function - no video call - and the tone of his messages were cold and condescending. Plus the way his sentences were worded made it sound like a computer was generating the responses. During the interview he refused to answer any of my questions (what the hours would be like, how many books we would work on, etc.), he kept saying that I would learn more once I was in the training process. I finally got frustrated after 20 minutes of him dodging my questions, and after doing a detailed look into the company's LinkedIn page and being unable to find the interviewer as a person listed as one of their employees, concluded that it was some sort of scam. I politely asked the interviewer how I was supposed to know if I wanted to start training with the company when he wouldn't give me any information about the position. "He" got snippy with me and told me not to tell him how to do his job. After that I told him I had made my decision and thanked him for his time. I got back a generic response that was at odds with the tone of his previous message. All in all, pretty sure this is some kind of scam, don't give them your personal information!
