I applied online and was contacted to set up an initial interview on Teams. It was quick and easy, although the interview process didn’t seem to be established just yet. At the end of the interview, I was told that I would be moving forward in the process. I followed up twice and never heard back. I’m not sure if something came up on their end, but I suspect it’s because I couldn’t drop everything and drive 5 hours for an in-person interview for a remote position. I currently work a full-time job. I was very intentional about applying to Grainger and thought it would be a great fit. I would have traveled for training and meetings, so I’m disappointed I wasn’t given a chance, as promised. It was not a professional process in the end. Please do better and don’t ghost your interview candidates.
