Received call from Recruiter a year ago, had a phone interview, and an interview on site, and was never called back. These first two processes took over 3 hours. I sent an email to the recruiter requesting feedback and never received a response. Again was called by a recruiter recently, (April 2016) in response to applying for the same position. In this call was told that Grainger has a do not hire list that is prepared and while he did not see my name on it, he wanted to look into my last interview more and get back to me the following day for sure. Never received a call back, but recieved an computer generated email days later stating they went with another applicant and encouraging me to keep applying. Spoke with a few employees in area about this and was told the woman who interviewed me in person was spiteful and did not do things businesslike, so being on this "list" was a possibility. Sounds very strange, the whole process was While Grainger seemed like an exciting company to work for, and one which I thought my call center management and manufacturing management would be a good fit. However, after these experiences I have lost interest. It seems as if something is not working right when it comes to their process of hiring, and that they have little respect for the time and dedication applicants put forth to the process.
