The interview process felt quite unprofessional.
HR emailed me on the same day and asked me to choose an interview time that day, which felt very unreasonable and gave me almost no time to prepare.
After the phone screen, I was supposed to interview with the hiring manager, but the coordination seemed to missing something.
No interview was scheduled, and I only found out something was wrong when I followed up during the interview week. I then received a last-minute calendar invitation.
After the interview, there was no follow-up at all. I finally received a rejection email about a month and a half later.
Overall, the process showed a lack of respect for candidates.
Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Google (Mountain View, CA) en may 2015
Entrevista
The process began with a portfolio review over the phone, in which a designer gave me a call and asked me about several of the projects on my portfolio and the design processes that went into them. It was a very straightforward discussion with no curveballs or anything of that ilk.
After passing that phase, the next step was a "design exercise" for which I was given the choice between several different design problems to solve. I chose one and submitted my response, which was evidently good enough to move on to the next phase.
Having passed the design exercise, I was flown out to Mountain View for an on-site interview. The primary component of this was a 1-hour presentation to a panel of Google designers, which consisted of my design exercise solution as well as additional details about some of my portfolio projects. Following the presentation, I had individual interviews with each of those designers.
While I felt that all the interviews had gone quite smoothly, about a week later I unfortunately received a call stating that my application had been rejected by the "hiring committee". While I was really disappointed, the process itself wasn't bad, and it certainly was better organized than any other company I interviewed at.

Questions during the individual on-site interviews tended to be standard design interview + behavioral interview fare, such as "design a system for...", "tell me about a time when...", etc.
The interview process has been pretty smooth. Their HR team is super friendly and helpful throughout the process. Although I didn't get an offer, it was a great learning experience.

first was a call,
Second was an assessment,
Third was an interview round.
I got rejected after the interview round. No feedback was provided, neither any ways to contact them back.
