Just wanted to state first and foremost, I had an amazing hiring/recruiting process with Google and my recruiter.
A recruiter from Google reached out to me and we set up a phone call to talk about the role and if I was interested. We talked for about 15 mins and then quickly scheduled a screening call. I had a screening calls with my recruiter and passed that.
He then set me up for my on site interviews. I was to have 3 back to back on site interviews in the same day. If I did not pass the first on site interview then I would not move onto the other two. So that was nerve wrecking on its own. I took the interview preparation very seriously. I wrote down all my work related examples and my success stories. I would recommend you memorize 5-6 at the top of your head so you have go-to examples to answer questions with.
I was able to pass all 3 on site interviews and then a week later I got a call that I had passed those! I was moving onto the hiring committee. Then 1.5 week later I got the call and was presented with the offer! I accepted and did negotiate the offer because I had to relocate for the position.
All in all the process from beginning to end took 2-3 months.
Tips for interview process:
- prepare by memorizing 5-6 work or school examples that relate to the position you're applying for
- take your time answering the questions
- ask thoughtful questions, not generic ones that everyone asks
- understand the job description and how you are the best fit for that position. Read the job description 20x if you have to!
- smile and relax!
- the wait time after the interviews is painful; but just rest assured that it's normal for them to take them 3-4 weeks to come back to you
- it seemed the longer the wait, the more like they are discussing your candidacy
Good luck!!

They tend to ask you questions based on the strengths/experience you listed on your resume. Lots of behavioral questions if you're experience in the role you're applying for; or hypothetical if you are not as experience in the role you're applying for.

the process is very fast. i got 4 rounds of interview within 2 weeks, and got the feedback right after each round of interviews. sometimes its depends on the chemistry between you and the interviewer.
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
