I was called by a recruit company about the position at Goodman Networks, after a brief talk about my resume and skills I was brought to an onsite interview the other day. The onsite interview is a panel interview about my resume and more detailed experience. The whole process is about 30 minutes.

I was contacted thru "Yoh". They're a staffing agency based out of AZ. The recruiter found my resume online and thought I was a great fit for this company/position. The recruiter re-formatted my resume and put it on one of their letterheads and sent it over to myself and the client. I had to print it out and bring it with me to the interview. I was excited to interview because it seemed like Goodman Networks was a well established company. The interview itself took about 15 minutes, tops. I felt like it was very rushed and they weren't very interested in what I had to say. It was a panel interview with 5 people plus myself. One of the girls didn't even ask me any questions. She was just there as a bystander or to fill up the room. She didn't smile or make eye contact with me the entire time. I would say the interview questions were fairly easy. They asked about my past work experience and if I was familiar with certain things. I didn't get a job offer. It was between me and another candidate who had a lot more experience than I did. So it made sense that they offered her the position. I was bummed because the pay was pretty good, but it was a temporary position.

Immediately stated that manager required an EXPERT in Excel, NOT willing to train, phone interview lasted less than 5 minutes, excellent confidence buster even if you're a great candidate. (filler, filler, filler, filler, filler, filler, filler)
