Its just a box checking formality resulting in a constant "check back in with us" message. Makes you feel like a desperate mistress. On top of this, you'll interview for one role to be offered a role 3 levels below and adjacent to any of your professional experience.

Interview was easy going, nothing out of the ordinary asked or discussed. Interviewer answered all the questions I had about the company and even gave me an outlook of what it would look like when I started. Project, team size, manager, etc.

Reached out to me in an informal manner claiming they had tried to reach out to me before via another communication platform but that I never responded. Did an informal phone interview that led to dead silence for months. I reached back out to follow up many times and eventually got a response saying they’d get back to me. The entire process was handled unprofessionally which speaks volumes about the culture within. Mainly focused on my salary expectations rather than my qualifications and experiences.
