Concerning. The overall interview was concerning and filled with red flags. The manager had a mindset aggressively based on outdated values to everything. He judged me for interviewing with them because it meant I wasn't loyal to my company and he didn't like the idea of someone leaving their company since he's been there forever.. They have an unhealthy relationship with the people that WFH. They did not hide that the managers and engineers that work on site resent the salesmen that work from home. The people that can make phone calls from home should make them from the office because if they have to be in the office everyone has to.. The manager said it doesn't matter when the sales call happens but you have to make it happen. With overseas customers, you may have to do a call at 10pm on Sunday night. That was a regular thing. In the end, I was ghosted, and then out of the blue I received a pleasant email saying they went with someone else. I would not work here nor would I recommend. The working relationship between management and peers immediately seems unhealthy with too much of an emphasis on out dated values and lack of respect for personal life.
