The video interview covered basic experience questions and was pleasant, but the interviewer focused heavily on general IT support tasks (like configuring laptops) and insisted on full 5-day office attendance (despite living far west). The in-person interview was shocking: the role was described as primarily IT support with only occasional Sage X3 contributions, completely different from the advertised Sage X3-focused specialist job. The pay was also mentioned as much lower than the posted $75K–$100K range. It felt like a clear bait-and-switch; I wasted time traveling to the office for a misrepresented position.
