Applied for the job online. Within the following week, I scheduled a live video call with the recruiter. We discussed about my work experience in tax, as well as details about the firm and job details. Overall, the recruiter was quite nice to talk with and I was excited about the prospect of working at the firm. I was told I could potentially hear back with a response on next steps by the following week. However, after two timely email follow ups with no response from the recruiter, I finally got an automated response on the 25th day after the recruiter meeting, saying I wasn't selected (I think being this happened in December, it probably delayed the decision process).
