I recently went through the interview process with Gartner, and it was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve had with a company.
The process was extremely lengthy and repetitive. I had to go through similar rounds of interviews multiple times, but with different levels of stakeholders. While I was happy to invest the time initially, it became apparent that there was no real structure or respect for the candidate's time.
After successfully passing all interview rounds, I was kept waiting under the pretext of “pending HR approvals.” Despite informing the company that I had other offers with expiration dates, they continued to delay with vague assurances that an offer was forthcoming.
I waited for over a month, only to finally discover there was no role to begin with. I was later informed that any approved positions would be filled through internal promotions instead.
This entire experience felt disrespectful and disorganized. It was incredibly frustrating to commit so much time and effort to a process that ultimately led nowhere.
Advice to Candidates: Avoid wasting your time with Gartner's recruitment process. Their lack of transparency and professionalism shows a blatant disregard for candidates.
Advice to Gartner: Improve your recruitment practices. Be transparent with candidates about the status of roles and avoid putting them through unnecessary steps if there is no intention to hire externally.

Entrevista
1st stage is an hour long interview with the recruiter, if successful second is with 2 hiring managers - mainly competency based, rigid and very clear they’re following a step by step processes, followed by a 3rd round including presentation and task. Recruiter explained process clearly but never came back with feedback post stage. Disappointing especially that preparation was required for both one hour long conversations and candidate experience was discussed during the process.

Very in depth career overview including higher education.
Discovery call with a sourcer, phone screen with a recruiter, video interview with hiring manager. Process moves quickly which is nice and they are transparent about feedback which I appreciate
Hiring sequence where I met with the recruiter, HM, VP. Then was flown to Stamford to present and meet more members of the team. Very welcoming, straightforward, and knew what to expect.
