Applied Online on Gartner careers page. I received a call from their recruiter who was impressed with my profile and referred me to multiple account managers within gartner. Finally my profile was selected by one manager. Ihad telephonic interview with him and one more product manager. Followed by online technical test for SQL and Python which was very challenging. But you are allowed to Google during 2 hour test so that helps.
Later I was invited for onsite interview where 3 people interviewed me with questions on project mentioned on my resume and behavioral questions etc. Overall I got a good vibe and couple of days later I got an offer.

They conducted two technical rounds of interviews with me over the course of three weeks. I was confident I had cleared both rounds, especially after the hiring manager personally mentioned that I was a strong fit based on my experience. However, the HR team kept me on hold as a backup candidate and later took down the job posting from the careers page. Despite multiple follow-ups over the phone, I received no response. It was only after sending a formal feedback email that I was informed they had decided to move ahead with a different candidate pool.
It's disheartening to see how some companies handle candidates—leaving them waiting without clear communication and ultimately wasting their time

The interview process for the Data Engineer position involved an initial non-technical screening call, followed by two technical rounds focusing on SQL, Python, and Azure, and concluded with a behavioral final interview.

Entrevista
There was one phone screen with recruiter followed by an hour long call with the hiring team. The team members were professional. However, some of them had no interest to hear about my current experience. It maybe because of the time factor or something else.
Never heard back from either the recruiter or anyone after this call. All the talk they do about conduct and professionalism, they can’t even send a response after the interview forget the feedback.
