Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Gartner (Melbourne) en dic 2017
Entrevista
5 interviews taken over a 3 month period. VERY unprofessional and inconsistent throughout process. Final interview had a panel of 3 people interviewing me. 2 liked me, the VP didn't. After waiting over 7 weeks for a reply(which never came), I was eventually able to get through to the original hiring manager and HR and was eventually told I didn't get the job because the VP felt as though I was defensive and had concerns about how I would treat customers. The interesting thing is that the last thing said to me when I left the offices was "great job" by the hiring manager.(who was not the decision maker)
The concern for me is that during the meeting, I (hesitantly) pointed out the discrepancies of staff throughout the interviewing process which eventually caused me not to get the job. Funnily enough, every person throughout the interviewing process with the exception of this 1 VP felt I was good enough for the job. I believe his motives around not giving me this job was more racially motivated than anything as he also hired 2 people from my same previous company. The difference between them and I? I am not caucasian.

What made me feel I was the right person for the job?
They have reached out to me for a job every year and I have interviewed with them 2 times and have never made it past the 1st interview. Confused why a recruiter reaches out to me anymore?

It was long and rigorous, often feeling extremely high pressure, with not a lot of constructive criticism. There are 5 rounds and each with a role-play. It's safe to say this is not an easy interview process. I'm not sure how they do their prospecting, but I was apparently a 'great fit' for the role - didn't show that enthusiasm during our calls.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
