Entrevista
Applied through a Gap Inc. recruiter who put me in touch with the university recruiter. First phone screening with the recruiter went over my past experience and gave me information about the intern program. From there, I was put in touch with two hiring managers who each gave me an additional technical phone screen and described the team they managed. Offer was given three weeks later after the holidays.

I spoke to recruiters when they came to my school's career fair back in September and was surprised to hear back from them two months later in November.
I was then scheduled a call with HR/Recruiting where I was given more details about the program, the team I would be interviewing with, and Gap in general. Nothing nerveracking at all, just a solid conversation. We also went over and discussed my resumé and past experiences.
The next step was then two 30-minute calls, one with a full-time who would be my mentor and an intern hiring manager. The recruiter was very flexible and was able to schedule the calls around my exam schedule. First call was with the hiring manager and the questions asked were: Do you have any experience with Agile, talk to me about your last internship, what are the importances of commenting code? The majority of the questions were centered around my experiences and thoughts on QA-ing, reviewing code, etc. The second interview with the full-time engineer was another discussion about my experiences with some questions more tailored to my work that aligned with what I would be working on. Overall, both interviews high focused on my experiences and unlike other interviews I have had, there were no technical questions. I believe they were trying to get a sense of the type of person I was and were more inclined to offer the position to someone who would fit in and be willing to learn over someone who couldn't communicate but had more technical skills.
