Interview process can come about 3 ways. You can get referred from a friend who already work there, hand in your CV to store or apply online. Handing in your CV to the store of choice is usually the best way as they tend to get back to you compared to applying online. They will ask you to come in to the store for a group interview. This usually consists of a quick tour of the shop floor of the departments and a brief speech by the lead manager. You will then be put in sections of different departments in the store where you should be giving good customer service etc. The manager know you don’t know anything currently about the company/store in terms of sizing, types of items etc, all they are looking for is enthusiasm and confidence. You will then be pulled aside and have a 1 to 1 quick interview/talk on why you want to work here and your availability/shift hours etc. If your unsuccessful you are usually kindly asked to leave. If you are successful they will ask you for another round of interviews, this could be the same day/another day. The next round will usually be with a store manager of the department you are chosen/want to work for. You may also be asked for another interview with a another manager.
They usually have higher amounts of vacancies during/before Black Friday, summer, Christmas and New Years. More likely to get the job as there are more jobs available.
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
