GolfTec reached out to me to setup an interview and when I met with them they found out pretty early on I didn’t have direct experience with ticketing systems. So they redirected the interview to see how they could map my experience back to the role. We spent 30 minutes talking through that. They gave me an idea of how the interview process would be and answered my questions. However, after the interview they just ghosted me. As a career pivoter, you get excited someone is willing to interview you at all and the interview went over fine, but then when people ghost you and give you 0 feedback it leaves you with no knowledge on what you’re supposed to improve on or if they simply went with candidates with more direct experience. They simply closed out the req and with enough silence having passed, I was able to put 2 and 2 together. Glad they tried to map it back I guess, but when total silence follows it honestly just feels like they wasted my time and hope.
