1 Hackerrank and 1 final interview consisting of the following : 1. Short introduction and 10 minutes of trivia questions which were very weird as it seemed as if they were recruiting for a midlevel application security position, not a newgrad software position as they exclusively asked questions relating to security, such as how does oauth work or what is CORS, 2. I was informed by my recruiter that there would be a system design round, so I spent the majority of my time preparing for the interview practicing system design yet there was no system design round. I read online that if it did occur, it would likely be an elevator design question or the common parking lot system design question. 3. 45 minutes of live coding part was the valid sudoku question from Leetcode. I solved and coded the first part of the question quite fast but struggled to solve the last part and the interview refused to give any hints. When there was 5 minutes, I came up with a solution that we agreed would work, but I did not have time to finish implementing it. 4. 30 minutes of your standard behavioral STAR questions. Make sure you follow STAR very closely because they don't actually care what your responses are, only that you follow STAR as closely as possible. Overall, it was a bit difficult compared to what I was expecting. Maybe the interviewers liked me so much that they declined me to save me from the absolute trash fire GEICO is.

Initial phone screen by recruiter and hiring manager. Both of them were very professional. Gave me a take home test that I completed on time. Got update from the recruiter that they are reviewing. Followed by a rejection email after couple weeks.
