El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en GEICO (Falls Church, VA) en dic 2009
Entrevista
At first I filled out an online application. The recruiter called me within 3 days to schedule a phone interview at a specific time in which he would call me. The call came a ful hour earlier than we agreed upon, and I missed his call. After several attempts to reach him and several bad connections later, he asked me generic questions like why does the job appeal to me, what makes me think I am qualified for the job, etc. Then he asked me what questions I had on the training (3-4 months long) and I asked everything that I could think of. I thought that this was a good sign, but I got a generic email 6 days later stating that I was not chosen to move forward. It seems that since he had called early, he got the wrong impression of me and was biased from then on out.

Why does this job appeal to you the most? Why an auto damage adjuster and not a claims or customer service position.
Informative, not many questions. Tells you
About the job and the pay. then they’ll send your application to the hiring manager if you qualify for the job. from that you will have a second interview. The second interview is when you’re offered the job
1st phone interview with hiring manager, 2nd interview was with the area manager and included a Role Play. They don't expect you to know everything they just want to see how you handle yourself under pressure in my opinion.

Give me a time when you disagreed with a customer.
An endless visual test with a timer attempting to judge your visual acuity, patience under pressure, etc. If you pass that you should get a call from an HR representative where you will speak on a high level about the job. Then you will have a series of questions where they want you to audio/visual record your answers. Then you will be placed in a live virtual scenario where you'll have mock customers and repair shops argue with you. Then you'll have an interview with a member of management in the area. If you pass all of that they'll typically offer.

The scenario is the most difficult, they're looking for people who can't handle the negative interaction, ie where the person freezes up, shows frustration/confusion, or outright gets upset.
