      Entrevista

Read for info on the assessment. They got back to me in two days after submitting my resume. Then I scheduled a phone interview. It was about an hour long, it went well. Then the assessment, is where everything flipped. They had about 15 papers on the desk of forms A-F. There was about 3-5 copies of each form. And there was also a packet which I was given 35 minutes total: 30min to play an audio file as a read along and the extra 5 minutes to go over it. Yes, 5 minutes... to go over 30 minutes worth of stuff including 6 different forms? I am a very fast reader, but to fully comprehend that entire packet I would need about 10-15 minutes extra. If this is the first time a trainee applicant is reading this what makes them think 5 minutes is enough time? I'm supposed to learn something reading it once? I tried my best to review what I could, I took notes. And the packet was about being an adjuster for computers, laptops, carts, cabinets and telephones. I expected it to be about cars. Why not do an assessment based off of what the job includes, cars, which is something applicants should be familiar with? After the 35 minutes, the woman comes in to give me another packet, 5 minutes to read everything. At this point I don't know what I'm doing because they created a whole new policy for cabinets and carts and I know cars very well, this is what I went to college for. I had to write an estimate for a cart. Now this all sounds simple, it's just a cart it has legs, a shelf and wheels. The name on the paper for the parts included, did not have the words expected. It had some other technical name for the parts. I've never heard of these words before, so I assumed what I thought the part was called. In this packet was about 5 scenarios back to back. And remember those 15 papers of forms? I didn't need any of them. The desk was filled with papers and it was displeasing because why give me multiple copies of the same forms when I do not need them. In the packet with the scenarios, were the forms I needed for each scenario. This surplus of papers on a small desk gave me anxiety. People in an office should have a decently spaced desk. I had nowhere to put the papers and I felt they would judge me if I put the papers on the floor. After 3 scenarios, she gave me another packet to read in 5 minutes. This was more chill. I think I did well for that. She said if I'm hired or rejected, they'll send an email. But she called instead. I also was selected for management trainee, however the assessment for auto damage was used for the management trainee position which I believe was irrational. Aside from speaking to customers, driving around and appraising vehicles... pardon, carts and telephones, is not what a manager does. Good luck if you're applying.

Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

      Entrevista

applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
