The interview process at Funnel consists of two stages. The first stage was conducted online and served as a simple briefing about the company’s background, followed by a self-introduction. Since the interview was in Malay, it felt quite convenient and comfortable. A few basic skills-related questions were asked, such as whether I could work independently if given the position. There were no technical questions at this stage. The second stage required attending a face-to-face interview at their office in Petaling Jaya, which is located about a 15-minute walk from the MRT Surian station. The session was also comfortable and focused more on discussing my background, past projects, and technical skills rather than specific technical questions like definitions or coding tests. From my experience, I gathered that the company is looking for candidates who are already highly skilled and can contribute immediately with minimal training. As a fresh graduate, I was hoping for an opportunity that would also provide structured learning and growth. Regarding salary expectations, candidates should be mindful that an entry-level offer around RM3,000 may not be realistic here, even with the willingness to work on Saturdays. Ultimately, it depends on what each candidate is looking for in terms of experience, career growth, and compensation.
