I went through four rounds of interviews, including preparing a deeply detailed presentation for the final round. A newly hired director of customer of success (who hadn’t officially joined the company yet) was part of the call. I got great feedback throughout the process, then suddenly with a new person joining, I was no longer in the running, apparently because my presentation went over by a couple of minutes. Really disappointing to have this be noted as the reason for not getting hired. Even more disappointing to see the role still being advertised two months later. If I was such a poor fit, why was I put through the drudgery of multiple rounds and a presentation? On the positive side, the recruiter was awesome and communicative at every step.
Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Front (San Francisco, CA) en mar 2020
Entrevista
30 min phone screen with head of customer success (no recruiter screening), then they generally do 2 on-sites w/ the second one having a bit of a presentation aspect. Zoom right now instead of onsite. then generally would move on to references, then comp conversations, then move on from there.
The head of customer success seemed checked out. He only got passionate when I tried to show enthusiasm and he seemed to angry at that. When I asked for his satisfaction with the company he seemed disgruntled and anxious about COVID. Super weird interview.
