After nearly a decade working as a Finance Assistant and Credit Controller, I've come to the realization that it's time for me to transition out of this field. Some sectors within it are declining, and there's limited room for growth. Despite initially seeming promising and offering hope during the interview phase, the company ultimately withdrew their job offer just two days before my expected start date, citing a minor mistake on a form as the reason. I'm profoundly disappointed with their management and HR approach. It's yet another example of a company failing to recognize talent, stuck in an outdated mindset and management style from the 1990s. Despite their efforts to appear modern and appealing to younger professionals, it's clear they're struggling to adapt and retain competent staff. They've been added to my blacklist, and while I'm in the process of transitioning to a new career, I'll never consider applying for a position with them again.
