Back in December 2020, I had got a link related to written Test containing - 2-3 SQL Programming questions and 2 general programming questions and few MCQs related to SQL, Data Warehousing, Hive, Spark, Kafka. I was later contacted by Jesvin (Recruiter) regarding the next steps which was 3 Technical Rounds and 1 HR round. 1st Technical Round :- It lasted for around 1 Hour, and I was interviewed around - Hive, Hive Optimization Techniques, Spark, SQL Queries (Window Functions). 2nd Round :- This round lasted for 45 mins , and I was interviewed by Senior Data Engineer on concepts around AWS EMR , Databricks, Spark, Splitting Of Files, File Formats , Situational questions like handling Large Files, etc etc. 3rd Round :- This is the final technical round which was taken by directors of DS in fractal. This was around the project I was working in my current organization. He had all reviews from previous rounds. This round lasted for 40 mins. 4th Round :- This was taken by head HR from Gurgaon. She only asked me one question, which was tell me more about yourself which had answers to all her questions and this round lasted only for 15 mins. Very next week, I got the Offer letter. The whole process was smooth and Jesvin was very helpful in calming my nerves and guiding on what to expect from the interview. Felt very welcomed.
