First meeting was with the hiring manager, who was just recently promoted from this role. Communication with the HR recruiter was abrupt and kind of cold. It was all fine until I asked about the WFH/in-office policies. The hiring manager is allowed to work remotely from another state but whoever holds this position has to work entirely in office in NYC. That didn't seem fair.
