Very unpleasant interview process to get a job in a pyramid scheme. Please avoid. It is direct sales in a supermarket, I sat and watched on as the current employees attempting to sell talk talk broadband to elderly people, who didn't need it. They would laugh and job about the people who work past and make fun of old people. Whilst they are doing this, they sit you down next to them for 10 hours doing tasks such as making a business report, pros and cons about yourself and who are you idols and why. Any body can get this job , do not get sucked into a commission only with NO SALARY job.

I went for a job interview at fortitude plethora that was advertised as 'events marketing', it wasn't however events marketing, it's a direct sales job aimed at selling broadband to older people in super markets. It started with team building which involved a lot of people in suits dancing around to house music, we were each then called in and given a person to train us. We were told that we were going to the 'event', it was a Morrisons supermarket in Denton, where we pitched up a stall selling talk talk broadband. From there, each person took it in turns to attempt to speak to customers to purchase broadband. I sat on the side and was given tasks to complete. My main concern was that the man who was 'training' me, said he had no idea what it was he was selling, he just needed to make sure they got the sale. They also mocked customers that were shopping, by mimicking their actions and laughing at them. When we got back to the office, I felt a bit overwhelmed as all employees were full on filling you with rehearsed information and came away feeling slightly uneased. It's commission only, and long hours of 8am-6pm, 6 days a week. This does not ensure you have an actual wage each week, to which two of the younger boys found an issue. A few weeks later, I found out that many of my graduate friends have also been caught by this company, however under various names. They are targeting young people for free work that are desperate for money, and then target them selfs at customers who are very vulnerable.
