The interview process consisted of a phone screening, an online interview, and an in-person interview that included a presentation task.
Unfortunately, communication from HR throughout the process was poor. Scheduling interviews was slow and unclear, and after completing all stages I waited 2–3 weeks without any update. When I reached out for clarification, I was told the team was still deliberating and that progress was slow due to the summer break.
I was eventually informed by HR that I would not be progressing, with no initial explanation provided. After requesting feedback, I was told that my presentation was strong and the interviews went well, but due to internal changes they decided they required someone with prior sports industry experience.
This requirement seems like something that should have been identified at the outset when advertising the role, rather than after putting candidates through multiple interview stages. Overall, the process felt poorly managed and was a significant waste of time.
