The opening was for research engineer in Ford advanced engineering. Applied through common contact. One phone interview and one web conference. Received an email asking for available dates for a phone conversation. After the first phone interview, second web interview was scheduled. I presented my work at the web interview and mostly technical questions were asked.

Most of the questions in the phone interview were easy. They were aimed at getting to know me better. Overall the interview was not hard and the interviewers were friendly. One of the question asked was why do you want to work for Ford? What appeals to you about the job?
The interview was with the recruiter, and then it was supposed to be followed up with two rounds of technical interviews, but I never heard back from them. I tried reaching out to them several times, but they never made a decision on my application, either on the portal or via email.

During the call with a recruiter, he kept asking about my salary expectations, not the range by exact number.
first brief talk with recruiter. The second also the final interview is with hiring manager and two other Ford employee for about an hour or so. Mostly behavior questions. Process is very straight forward.

After the application and assessments, it was a phone screen call first. It was pretty straightforward answering the basic questions and demonstrating the skills needed for the job. Then it was an interview with the hiring manager. It consisted of both behavioral and technical questions
