Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Flow Traders (Ámsterdam) en mar 2018
Entrevista
First there was a Hackerrank test with time constraints. General C++ and algorithm problems. There were some challenging ones among them. After I passed the test, there was a phone interview with HR. In the phone HR insisted on finding out whether I know how FlowTraders profit and what ETP is although it was stated in the job description there is no prior financial knowledge required. Anyway, then there was a codepair with a person from the company. Person who interviewed me was looking very tired and inpatient and it seemed like that s/he just wants to get over with the interview. There was a very specific question about multithreading and an algorithm question related with string operations. I did not know the answer to first knowledge question, I was upset and unable to come up with a good solution to second problem. After two weeks they told me that I am below standard.

What is the difference between boost::mutex and CriticalSection? What lies beneath the mutex?
1 HR call followed by 2 first rounds with 30 min each. The first round is mainly about technical questions related to past experiences and CS fundamentals. The second round mainly focuses on motivation. Followed by a take-home assignment and one round to go through the solution with a technical person. And a final round.
There is one OA then an HR behavioral and then a technical interview which i did not pass.
The interviewer were not really nice they were not interested on my background they focused only on solving the leetcode problem.
The online assessment are not hard. As for the interview, the interviewer was nice and asked relevant questions focused on my experience and understanding of the industry. Overall, it was a positive experience.
