The initial phase was engaging, involving a self-introduction to the talent acquisition team and answering general questions. The second phase was a challenging GitHub assignment focused on solving a scheduling optimization.

There were 4 rounds: 1) Quick chat with recruiter to understand my current status, objectives and past experiences 2) Technical interview with 2 optimisation experts, focusing on my past optimisation projects and then going through a python assessment (live coding) and then a MILP test focused on modelling constraints using binary variables 3) Interview with senior software engineer and VP of engineering which felt more like a conversation around my past experiences instead of a preplanned sequence of questions, what was really nice. 4) Final round with one of the cofounders, which was again a really friendly conversation around my past experiences and about Flexciton itself. Everyone was very nice during the interview and there was also plenty of opportunities for me to ask questions about the position and the company. I was very happy about how fast it was, the very detailed feedback that was provided and the guidance for the visa process afterwards.
