      Entrevista

I went through an extensive interview process for an Engineering Operations Manager role starting in late December 2025. The process included four rounds of interviews: - Initial screening - Technical/functional rounds - Stakeholder discussions - Leadership round All rounds were completed successfully, and the feedback shared was very positive. I was informed that the team was happy to move forward, and compensation discussions were aligned. Between January and February 2026, there were multiple communications and follow-ups regarding feedback, alignment, and next steps. The overall feedback shared during this phase was very positive, and I was informed that the team was happy to move forward. Compensation discussions were also aligned, indicating that the process was moving toward the offer stage. Timeline & Process: - March 6, 2026: Submitted all required documents for offer processing - Initial commitment: Offer to be released by April 2, 2026 Post document submission, I was consistently informed by the HR SPOC that: - Budget was being approved - Offer was in progress and nearing release However, after April 2, the reasons for delay kept changing: - DocuSign/system-related issues impacting offer generation - Offer required regeneration due to system constraints - IT team was working on fixing the issue - Manual PDF offer option required additional approvals - Support escalation ticket was raised - Requested to check spam folder and share alternate email ID Despite these repeated updates and multiple promised timelines, no offer was ever received. Key Issue: There was complete dependency on a single HR SPOC throughout the process. No alternate contact was available. After repeated follow-ups, I was eventually informed by another HR representative that: - The role itself was not approved and had been closed - The SPOC handling my process was no longer part of the company This information came after several weeks of being told the offer was imminent. Outcome: The process ended without an offer, despite reaching the final stage and completing all requirements. Concerns: - Lack of transparency regarding approval status - Repeated timeline commitments not honored - No backup SPOC leading to communication gaps - Delayed communication about role closure - Candidate left in uncertainty despite advanced stage Advice to Management: - Improve transparency around role approvals before progressing candidates to offer stage - Ensure backup SPOC for continuity - Avoid giving repeated timelines unless confirmed - Communicate changes in status proactively Overall Experience: While the interview panel interactions were positive, the offer stage experience was highly unstructured and lacked clear communication.
