A fairly standard hiring manager screening. The HM asked about the structure of my team, projects we recently did, evolvement of our technology and my hiring strategy. You have to navigate the questions by yourself and try to understand the interviewers intention. Because they didn't provide many hints or ask follow up question.

I found the process to be really well-structured, without much “fluff”. Every session helped me learn a bit more about the company, its people, and my prospective team — and also made me more excited to work at Figma. The recruiting team is very responsive, and is proactive in messaging changes to the plan. Overall, the Figma process was one of the best I’ve participated in, and I found the three technical sessions particularly fun and applicable to the work I think I’d be doing.
I appreciated the thorough preparation, and that it caused me to become familiar with Figma (the product) in a natural way. I found that preparing for the interviews (particularly those focusing on business/product/people sense) helped me realize some of my own thoughts and philosophies better, which would have been a benefit even if I didn’t end up working at Figma, and is a marker of a good process.

5 rounds of interviews focused on behavior, system design and moves to phone references. People are friendly and process is very transparent. The problem solving rounds are also little different and focuses on figma specific problems
