Process Overview: - 30-minute recruiter call - 1-hour LeetCode-style interview - Onsite: - 1.5-hour live Android Studio coding challenge, or 1-hour coding extension on an Android take-home assessment (7-day window) - 1-hour technical deep dive - 1-hour systems design / whiteboard Note: Candidates who do not pass the Android Studio coding challenge in the onsite will not proceed to the remainder of the onsite. Recommendations: The systems design round feels misaligned for a junior Android developer role, as this type of assessment is typically more relevant at senior levels. Additionally, rejection communications would be more respectful and constructive if delivered via a call with feedback rather than an email. Overall Impressions: Outside of the above, the experience was genuinely enjoyable. The team and recruiter were both great throughout the process.
