      Entrevista

      The overall recruitment process spanned eight weeks, and while it began smoothly with a straightforward initial interview and a more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager, there were areas where communication and candidate experience could have been improved. After being asked to complete a presentation task, I was informed the evening before the scheduled interview, at around 6:30pm, that it would need to be rescheduled. At that point, I had already fully prepared the presentation and taken the following day off work, so the late notice was disappointing. The interview was then pushed back by three weeks, during which I received no follow-up communication or confirmation closer to the new date. When the interview did take place, it overran by 30 minutes. I followed up with a thank-you email to the talent partner after the session but unfortunately did not receive a response. I was told I would hear back within the week, and four days later, I received a voicemail informing me that I had not been successful. The only feedback provided was that the team liked me and would have liked to hire me but didn’t feel I was senior enough. While I appreciated the positive notes, more specific feedback would have been helpful for my development. Overall, I appreciated the opportunity to engage with the team, but clearer and more consistent communication along with more actionable feedback would have significantly improved the experience.
