The initial screening was fine. The person was somewhere very loud so it was difficult to hear her. The face-to-face interview was fine with the manager, although certain parts did get off topic from a normal interview with things being brought up about politics...beliefs... etc. So I just nodded. Lol They said speaking Spanish was not a requirement but it seems like it was since they mentioned most of their client base that comes in speaks Spanish. They already had a girl working the position but they wanted to move her to sales but it seems like they just ended up keeping her for the time being. It a receptionist position, that requires a smiling face. I got a rejection email within 16 hours of the interview.
Applied on - 07/17 Automated text message/ email - first interview on - 07/18 Rejection - 07/31 on the 14th day / 2 weeks after initial application. The automated text/email means nothing, doesn't mean you'll ever actually have an interview with the company. It does ask salary, interview availability, and other general questions based on whatever position you apply to. The text and email absolutely give false hope, because it states a recruiter will reach out to schedule an interview based on the availability provided. I never heard from anybody after the initial “first interview” (auto email/text). I did follow up a week later directly to the recruiter and heard nothing. I then received a rejection email today. On the bright side a previous poster in Houston, Tx had already gave me an idea of what would occur. In short tread lightly and of course keep applying to other opportunities. I wish whoever reads this luck on their search.

Can you work the needed schedule for the position? Are you okay with “” as the starting wage for the position? When are you available for in person interview?
