A recruiter reached out to me in Linkedin and we spoke about the role. I was told that I was a good fit and was sent a meeting calendar invite after the call. I went select a day and time however the calendar said that they were no longer accepting interviews for this role. The next day the recruiter told me that there was an issue with their calendar system and that the hiring manager just went on vacation. A week later the recruiter contacted me again to inform me that they were moving forward with another candidate. This process made no sense and was a complete waste of time.
