Applications for FedEx Freight must be submitted through their website--you won't find listings online through Monster or Career Builder, etc. You have to submit a new application for every unique posting, even if it's for an identical job title at the same terminal--they don't keep anything "on file" from one vacancy to the next. If you meet the minimum requirements you will be called for more information and a preliminary background check to verify important info. If all is well you will likely get a 1-hour interview and modest testing of basic math, reading/writing skills. Following a positive interview there could be a more through background/criminal check to make sure your application was honest and above board. After that, depending on position, you may have to go through a training process, but in a CDL drivers' case you are considered an employee and are paid whatever hourly rate the position warrants.
