This interview is specifically for the FactSet Research arm of FactSet.
The interview included a 15 minutes analytical test and a panel interview where I met an individual in person as well as another on video conference.
The test was to edit a dummy research report and give reasoning during discussion. Very simple.
Interview was straight forward where they desired someone with gusto for Factset and ability to project manage Equity research clients' requirements. Chemistry was important.
Discussion lasted well over an hour where they critiqued many areas of concern and delved upon their interest to understand your capabilities to demonstrate immediate "hit the ground running" capabilities.

This review is for the Initial HR interview only. The HR recruiter asked how I know of Factset and asked me to walked through my resume. She also asked for salary requirements. They didn't have a defined wfh hybrid model yet but there my be some days that you will need to work in the office.

Very lengthy product manager process to be interviewed. Went through all the stages and then ghosted. Ultimately when I asked, I was notified they went with another candidate since I did not have "enough experience" for the role. A.) If I didn't have enough experience, why did they continuously move me forward and give false hope? B.) Every person I met consistently said I would be great for the role. Very odd, disheartening, and completely disrespectful process. Do not waste a candidate's time and energy if you think they're too junior. And lastly, the role was never marketed as a senior position - it was a junior position. Please note that if something is junior, that means it's actually for those who have "less" years of experience. Change the title if you're looking for a more seasoned professional instead of wasting candidate's valuable time.
