Applied online, received a call from recruiter, attended 3 rounds of interview - very positive feedback each time. After 2 weeks of hiring process, recruiter ghosts. Followed up via email and phone call few times, no response. If a position is on hold or you are considering other/ stronger applicants, it doesn't hurt to convey that. Ghosting after decent interview feedback and for a senior role doesn't reflect good on company & culture.
